BE (Chem) – Minerals Processing (Greenfields)
Chemical engineer with experience in new process development, study, test work programs, design, project management, commissioning, and operations experience across a range of industries and commodities. Jason has over 20 years detailed project experience from small (<$1Million) to major (>$1Billion) projects in EPC, EPCM and Owners Team roles and has delivered projects involving high purity complex hydrometallurgical processing of minerals including nickel, cobalt, uranium, copper, magnesium, gold, lithium, and high purity alumina.
Jason’s unit operation specialties including leaching (tank and heap), filtration, crystallisation, centrifugation, fluidized beds, distillation, solid/liquid separation, drying calcination, thickening and evaporation as well as excellent knowledge on crushing/milling, flotation, solvent extraction and precipitation and the operation of pilot and demonstration plants to ensure information/strategies are implemented to reduce delivery/commissioning/operational risks.
BE (Chem) BCom (Fin) – Minerals Processing (Brownfields)
A Lead Process Engineer experienced in process design, construction and commissioning. John has significant experience optimising existing brownfield assets in <$50M TIC projects, completing the full spectrum of activities from project management, process design, procurement, construction management, commissioning and handover to operations. He also has experience working in large scale ($200M to $1B) projects in study and execution phases.
John also has finance experience having completed a dual Commerce (Finance major) degree with a strong technical knowledgebase, he has worked in numerous consulting roles developing financial models for the evaluation of brownfield operating costs, tradeoff studies, and value driver tree analysis.
BE (Chem) – Energy and Chemicals
Michael is a process engineer with significant industry experience in the design, operation, commissioning, sales and delivery projects in Australia and overseas. Michael has worked across a wide range of fields (sugar, fuel, beverage alcohol, oil & gas and chemicals) both in brownfield operations and greenfield projects. He has extensive process team lead and engineering management experience with engineering consultants.
Michael provides project sponsorship, peer review and safety reviews on projects. He works in the early concept/assess phase of projects, ensuring that the sufficient stakeholder engagement and engineering has occurred to develop the preferred concept and that Sedgman Prudentia’s corporate knowledge is brought to each project.
