This role provides you with the autonomy to apply industry principles, best practices, and sound judgment in delivering multidisciplinary project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage in the entire design lifecycle, from concept and detailed design to commissioning and handover.
- Develop technical specifications, equipment sizing, and perform calculations.
- Prepare engineering deliverable lists.
- Provide innovative solutions to complex challenges in brownfield projects.
What You Bring to the Role
- A tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- 5+ years of experience.
- RPEQ certification is advantageous. Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is desired.
- A working knowledge of Australian Standards.
- Experience in heavy industry projects, such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Distribution.
- Experience in detailed electrical installation scoping and reviews.
- LV/MV switchgear design experience.
- ELV design experience.
- Instrumentation experience, including understanding P&IDs and developing instrument loop and connection drawings.
- Control system integration and communication systems design experience.
- Power system study experience (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash, relay coordination, and earthing design) is highly desired.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to ask questions and find optimal solutions.
- Relevant experience working in Australia.
