Solution

Prudentia were engaged due to our expertise in the design and supply of pilot plants in the minerals processing and energy sectors. The first priority was engaging with the client on the historical development work and commercial application, to finalise the process design and key equipment sizing parameters to achieve the objectives of proving the commercial viability of the process and providing key scale up information for the commercial unit.

We proceeded to lock down key long lead items (in COVID environment) such as PLC and electrical equipment, slurry pressure control valves and heat exchangers. Ongoing refinement of the model occurred, followed by detailed design deliverables to enable fabrication and fitout subcontract to be awarded.

Prudentia managed this end to end, including workshop FAT to demonstrate the system performance on water, prior to dispatch to site and installation by the client.
