About the Role:

Due to our sustained growth, we are seeking a seasoned Principal Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Adelaide. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing technical guidance, leading a small team, and overseeing detailed design work in the oil and gas, energy, chemical and /or water industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, providing technical expertise and guidance.
  • Oversee and contribute to detailed design projects in the oil and gas, energy, chemical or water industries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver outstanding design solutions.
  • Provide technical advisory and support throughout various project phases.
  • Utilise expertise in hazard analysis and process engineering to ensure project success.

Role Requirements & Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in process engineering.
  • Background in oil and gas, energy, chemical, and water industries.
  • Proven experience in detailed design and addressing technical queries.
  • Familiarity with hazard analysis tools and processes.

Skills:

  • Strong technical leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in both conceptual and detailed design work.
  • Technical proficiency in process engineering.
  • Expertise in utilising HYSYS for process simulations.
  • Experience with hydraulics packages for comprehensive system analysis.
  • Experience with HAZOP or LOPA facilitation is advantageous but not essential.
